We, with the help of our suppliers Show Business Interiors, Symphony Group, Clarkson Evans and Oxford Fencing, have provided new furniture, blinds, soft furnishings, units and worktops, lighting and decking. Master Craftsman and Apprentice Manager Keith Ricketts and his apprentices also volunteered their time to build and install the furniture.
Originally used as a space for play therapy, the Garden Room has now been repurposed as a special place where parents can go for reflection or to enjoy a moment of relaxation whilst their child is looked after by the Care Team.
Mark Edmonds, Managing Director, said: "We were delighted to continue our support for Helen & Douglas House by helping to renovate their Garden Room. This room is such an important part of what they offer to families of sick children, and being able to make it extra special for those who use it has made us extremely proud."
Shahzaadee Adam from Helen & Douglas House said "Thanks to the generosity of all involved, this area will be a safe and peaceful space for families to retreat to and enjoy knowing their child is being cared for by our incredible Care Team. We can’t thank Taylor Wimpey enough for this wonderful donation of furniture and their time. Without them this would not have been possible."
